Nebius is looking for a Senior Data Center Technician to play a key role in ambitious global data center projects and take an active part in IT operations at its data center in Mäntsälä, Finland. This hands-on, high-impact position involves troubleshooting onsite technical issues, deploying IT infrastructure in new regions, and ensuring reliable IT support across remote locations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Nebius, a global organization with nearly 600 employees, has a growing Mäntsälä site with around 30 employees. You will be part of a team of 12 members across Finland, the US, Paris, and the Netherlands.

Basic information

• Location: Mäntsälä (Moreenikatu 6, Mäntsälä, Finland)
• Working model: Onsite 5 days per week
• Work hours: Office hours Monday to Friday
• Travelling: Depending on one's own readiness, there is an opportunity to travel 20–50% of working time to other Nebius data centers during deployments, such as to the USA, France, or Iceland
• Permanent, full-time role

Key responsibilities and main tasks

The main responsibilies include:

• Project tasks and solving hardware issues in Mäntsälä data center.
• Write technical documentation covering service operations.
• Prepare and execute installations for new launches in various countries.
• Coordinate remote IT operations using smart hands services at co-location sites.
• Traveling for installations and support (traffic exchange points in the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, France etc.).

Knowledge and skills

The right person has:

• Knowledge of data center operations, server infrastructure, and network equipment.
• In-depth understanding of IT hardware components, along with expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Practical experience in project management or team leadership is an advantage.
• Activity, responsibility and purposefulness.
• Highly proficient spoken and written English.
• Readiness for regular business trips in the future.

It will be an advantage if you have:

• ITIL or/and PMI Certification
• Knowledge of Finnish
