We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join Kemppi's Digital Services team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the well-known WeldEye software solution and be part of a dynamic team. You'll gain experience across a variety of tasks, working on different products and systems that all use the same technologies.

WeldEye is a product branded by Kemppi and has been on the market for about 10 years. WeldEye is a universal solution for managing welding production. WeldEye provides control in all processes - including welding procedures, welder and inspector qualifications, documentation, reporting and administration.

Basic information

• Location: Kemppi HQ in Lahti
• Work model: Ideally, the selected person should be in the office once per week. On-site presence is also required for onboarding, occasional team meetings, and joint communal working weeks (once per quarter). However, the hybrid model can be adjusted based on the candidate’s location and personal situation
• Business travel: no frequent travelling
• Permanent, full-time position

Role

As a Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities include software development and design for both back-end services and web interfaces for cloud services and IoT solutions. The role will start working on WeldEye, and around 70% of the working time will be spent on new development, but responsibilities will also include minor maintenance tasks on existing systems. Development is largely based on customer needs, including for example, additional features.

To succeed in this position, we are looking for someone with

• At least 3-4 years of versatile experience in full-stack programming and readiness for independent software development
• Knowledge of the technology stack, especially Typescript, Angular and AWS.
• Experience with Docker, Serverless
• Kotlin, Android, SDK is considered as a plus
• Fluent English (Finnish is a plus)
