We are now looking for a Specialist, Innovation Management to drive innovation at Oras Group, by creating of innovative and sustainable new products, solutions, and business models based on market expectations, target user group needs, and strategic business goals.

Basic Information

• Location: Rauma or Espoo
• Flexible hybrid working model: you can work remotely 2 days per week
• Travelling: travelling mainly to Rauma / Stuttgart, occasionally possibly also to other countries.
• Permanent, full-time role

Key Responsibilities and Main Tasks

• Develop and implement an innovation strategy that integrates consumer and customer insights, market intelligence, and business objectives
• Ensure innovation roadmap with its products, solutions, technologies and business models support the implementation of the company’s strategy
• Build understanding on customer and consumer expectations and ensure that new product innovations meet future market needs and sustainability targets
• Drive innovation projects and develop Oras Group innovation processes
• Support the organization with training and internal competence building on innovation and design thinking
• Engage and facilitate cross-functional teams in generating, evaluating and prioritizing innovative ideas for products, services, and business models. Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and collaboration within the organization
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and cooperations with external partners, startups, research institutions, and industry experts to access new technologies, insights, capabilities and business models
• With engineering, look for emerging technologies, innovations, best practices relevant to the sanitary industry
• Drive innovation projects from concept to commercialization. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality and UX standards
• Engage and gain internal buy-in and support for innovation initiatives. Communicate progress, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders regularly

What Oras expects from you

• Innovation Competence (knowledge of Design Thinking, Agile and Lean Innovation)
• Familiarity with UX/UI, sustainability, IoT and smart technologies
• Proven experience leading and working in cross-functional teams and managing innovation projects
• 5+ years in product innovation, ideally in manufacturing or consumer goods industries
• Strong customer insight and commercialization experience for market-driven innovations.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s (e.g. Industrial Design, Engineering, Business or Innovation)
