Glaston Oyj Abp - Information Security Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Information Security Manager to join Glaston’s IT organization. In this global role, you will hold comprehensive responsibility for planning, developing, monitoring, and managing information security and data protection across the organization. Your work will include the implementation and integration of a robust information security framework across all Glaston Group business areas, in close collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
The role has global scope and impact. Glaston’s main operations are located in Germany, Switzerland, Finland, and China, with additional smaller sales and service offices around the world.
Basic Information
- Location: Tampere or Helsinki metropolitan area
- Work model: A flexible hybrid model, but we hope you could come to the office 2–3 days a week. If your primary office is in the Helsinki metropolitan area, we hope you can visit Tampere once a month.
- Travelling: Limited travelling
- Permanent, full-time role
Organization
The Information Security Manager is part of the ICT & Digitalization team and will report to the Vice President of ICT & Digitalization. The ICT & Digitalization team consists of approximately 12 professionals covering key ICT functions. You will also work closely with external IT partners who support Glaston’s daily operations.
Key Responsibilities and Main Tasks
Your responsibilities as Information Security Manager are:
- Comprehensive responsibility on planning, development, monitoring and operational management of information security and data protection including implementation and integration of information security framework on Glaston Group’s business areas together with colleagues and partners
- Development of principles of information security and support to the organization on implementing those principles through awareness building and training
- Development and maintenance of ISMS, information security systems and services such as SIEM and SOC
- Supporting Glaston’s security risk management process and producing relevant situational awareness information and reports
- Organizing and supporting data protection and cyber incidents and crisis management duties
- Communication of current cyber threats and solutions producing relevant situational awareness information and reports
- Additionally, you will have opportunities to work in different types of cybersecurity related development projects.
Knowledge and Skills
- Multiple years of experience working in the field of information security in an independent role with strong hands-on technical expertise
- Strong expertise in Microsoft environments and related security. Understanding of SOC and NOC operations, and experience in securing cloud services from cyber threats
- Knowledge of network security, experience especially in the context of SD-WAN technologies and Fortinet solutions is considered an advantage
- Solid understanding of user identity and access management and the ability to manage related processes efficiently.
- Experience in security governance practices, particularly in accordance with standards such as ISO 27001 and NIS2.
- Good knowledge of data protection
- Management, compliance and good understanding of information security for the business, for example in OT and connectivity solutions
- Experience in managing services and suppliers
- Suitable university or applied sciences degree
- Fluent English skills, Finnish is a plus
- Strong IT-skills
