Tools Finland - Warehouse Manager

Tools Finland Oy is looking for a people-oriented Warehouse Manager with a strong change management and values-driven mindset to lead the Tampere warehouse operations. The role involves leading the warehouse team and ensuring efficient, high-quality daily operations in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Basic information
Office location: Tampere.
Work model: On-site, with occasional remote days upon agreement.
Travelling: Limited, a few times per year (Finland, Sweden and Norway).
Employment type: Permanent, full-time role.

Key activities and responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team
Build trust, engagement, and cohesion
Lead by example with a visible and firm but inclusive leadership style
Ensure a safe, respectful, and motivating working environment
Operational Excellence
Overall responsibility for warehouse workflow, safety, quality, and delivery performance
Drive continuous improvement across the entire process flow
Identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
Improve efficiency, safety mindset, and ways of working
Performance Management
Define, monitor, and act on key KPIs
Use data and fact-based decision-making to guide development
Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve service levels and customer satisfaction
Development & Change
Lead change management initiatives
Prepare the organisation for future development projects, such as layout changes and WMS implementation
Actively contribute to shaping the future logistics setup
Who we are looking for
Knowledge, skills and experience
Proven leadership experience in logistics or production environments
Strong experience in building and leading teams
Solid understanding of warehouse and distribution processes
Experience with ERP and WMS systems
Strong safety mindset and continuous improvement capabilities
Experience in budgeting and performance follow-up
Fluent Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage
Personal qualities
Calm, confident, and secure leadership style
Ability to say no and make firm decisions when needed
