We are looking for our client Glaston a Global Sales & Operations Planning Manager to lead and develop S&OP process. The role is preferably located in Finland, Tampere or Helsinki. This role requires occasional travelling globally. You can work in flexible hybrid model but presence at Tampere site is needed in monthly basis.

The role is new in the organization and the main responsibility is to create and lead a S&OP process that drives cost-effective, flexible, and efficient production across our global factory network and supply chain. This role is a pivotal part of Glaston’s Global Operations organization, which includes all factories, supply chain management, and the S&OP function. The role reports to Chief Solutions & Operations Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Lead S&OP Process: Establish and drive a structured, data-driven S&OP process to optimize alignment between market demand and production capabilities, ensuring efficiency across Glaston’s global network.
• Customer Service and Cost Optimization: Work to improve service levels and delivery times while optimizing costs, balancing the needs of production efficiency with customer demand requirements. Develop and track metrics to ensure the S&OP process delivers on both cost-efficiency and customer satisfaction goals.
• Strategic Global Coordination: Facilitate S&OP process with Market Areas, factories, supply chain and Business Lines to align on demand, production, and inventory strategies. Lead the collaboration across departments to support a unified approach to planning and operations. Ensure we build global production capabilities in different locations to enable more flexible global production planning.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize SAP, Salesforce, PLM systems and Power BI to ensure operational performance, and informed decision-making.
• Risk Management and Scenario Planning: Identify potential risks in demand and supply plans and develop scenario planning process including mitigation plans.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Trust-Building: Build strong relationships with global stakeholders, gaining their trust and commitment to drive S&OP initiatives that elevate operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Inventory and Capacity Planning: Manage capacity and inventory levels to optimize Operations network efficiency, availability, and quality. Ensure efficient capacity planning to drive efficiency across different production sites.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: Knowledge in creating, developing, or managing an S&OP process in a similar global industrial environment is needed to succeed in the role. Having seen a well-working process increases the implementation speed as this is a new process in Glaston.
• Analytical and Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP), Salesforce and related reporting tools and their potential to drive data-based process management is important skill to succeed in this position.
• Leadership and Communication: Ability to inspire and align global teams, effectively communicating the value of a globally optimized S&OP approach. Capability to lead and operate in a global matrix organization.
• Results-Driven Mindset: Success in this role will be measured by improvements in efficiency across Glaston’s production operations and customer satisfaction goals.
