Oriola - System Expert, Customer Care – Sales and Distribution (SAP SD)

Oriola is now looking for a System Expert, Customer Care – Sales and Distribution (SAP SD) to join its Customer Experience team.
As a System Expert in Customer Care, focusing on the SAP Sales & Distribution area and related master data, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and reliable end-to-end process from order to delivery and invoicing for customers. This requires you to take part in day-to-day activities hands-on when needed. At the same time, you will actively participate in process planning and system transformation. While your primary focus is on the SAP Sales and Distribution area, you will also have responsibilities related to master data and relevant surrounding systems.
Oriola is investing in ERP and warehouse management as a part of the refined strategy to enhance efficiency and operational excellence. The aim is to have one common system which will enable to harmonise business processes, strengthen data management and enhance customer experience. The project has started early 2024, and the new system, SAP S/4 Hana, will be deployed in phases during 2025-2027. The first deployment will be in Sweden followed by the deployment in Finland.
Basic information
- Location: Espoo, Finland
- Remote work: Flexible hybrid model.
- Travelling: Business travel of 2-3 days once a month to Sweden and within Finland.

Key responsibilities and main tasks
- Participate in the development of processes and systems to enhance efficiency, operational excellence, and customer experience.
- Contribute to Change Request & Continuous Improvement work and system changes by determining, planning, documenting, and testing.
- Support the customer experience organization in SAP and related system issues, acting as a link with IT and other stakeholders.
- Participate in product and customer data management.
- Translate customer and business needs into technical requirements, and document and analyze business requirements.
- Report and assist in solving technical problems with other stakeholders in SAP and related systems incidents. Document and analyze solutions to prevent future incidents.
- Train staff and create internal guidelines and templates.
- Manage the development backlog.
What are we looking for?
Sufficient skills and a strong interest in customer care, data management, Order to Cash processes, and SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) form the foundation for success in this role. We wish you to hold at least a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of two years of experience as an in-house expert in SAP SD or similar role, where you have developed expertise in process and system development.
The ideal candidate has experience with documentation and testing, including defining the necessary test scripts and understanding factors that influence various functionalities. While not required to devise technical solutions independently, you should have the ability to identify and understand customer and business needs and effectively translate them into technical language, while leveraging end-to-end knowledge of the Order to Cash process.
As a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, you can foster collaboration across various stakeholders. It is important to be able to support colleagues who may not have as strong technical skills. Proactivity and a willingness to take responsibility are essential traits, along with a results-oriented approach to getting things done.
Fluency in both written and spoken Finnish and English is required. Additionally, knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is considered a valuable bonus.
