Tibnor Oy - Credit Controller

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Credit Controller to join Tibnor Oy. This new local role offers a great opportunity to join Tibnor Oy and take ownership of how local credit management will operate and develop, both technically and in daily practices. In addition, you will handle the credit management for Tibnor’s subsidiary, TM-Rauta Oy.
Your main local stakeholders are sales and finance functions in Finland, but you are also part of the Nordic Credit team. The position is based in Seinäjoki and requires weekly presence in the office.
Key activities and responsibilities
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in developing and managing local credit operations in line with SSAB Group’s Credit Policy. You will be responsible for credit risk management and conducting risks assessment and credit ratings. You will be overseeing accounts receivable and ensuring effective debt collection. Your work includes also assessing customer creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and monitoring payment behavior to support healthy cash flow. You will also handle customer master data to ensure accuracy. Collaboration with the sales team and customers will be central to your daily work.
Tibnor is currently implementing its own new SAP system, transitioning from SSAB’s ERP platform. In this context, you will participate in defining the setup of credit rules in the new system and support local sales in adopting new ways of working. The main systems used are SAP, QlikView, and MS Office.
Knowledge, skills and experience
Tibnor is looking for a proactive and analytical person who can work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least some experience in credit controlling and risk management
- Knowledge of relevant Finnish legislation related to credit management and collection
- Initiative and a process-improvement mindset
- Fluency in Finnish and English, Swedish is an advantage
- Familiarity with SAP and other similar systems is highly beneficial
- Working within international group structures and policies is considered an asset
