Oras Group - Manager, Technical Valves

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Manager, Technical Valves to lead, develop and grow the Oras Group’s valve business in Finland and Estonia, and later across the Nordics. In this newly founded key position, you will take full responsibility for reinvigorating and developing Oras’ valve business. You will define and execute the business strategy, drive sales, and strengthen the product portfolio.
The valve business is part of Oras’ Strategic Business Unit Finland and Baltics, and the role reports to SBU Head Marko Sundholm. As the business grows, the role will have the opportunity to build their own, international sales team.
Basic information
- Office location: Rauma or Espoo
- Hybrid-work model: 3 days a week at the office
- Travelling: Yes, customer visits mainly in Finland and occasional internal trips
- Permanent, full-time role
- Desired starting date: As agreed
Key Activities and Responsibilities
This is a hands-on, customer-facing commercial role combined with strategic business development responsibilities. Initially, the focus will be on Finland, while also developing operations in Estonia, and in the longer term, expanding into other Nordic markets by building your own sales team.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
- Full responsibility for the valve business in Finland and Estonia
- Lead sales, customer relationships and market activation
- Develop and implement the business and go-to-market strategy
- Drive product portfolio development and launch new products to the market
- Recruit and lead future sales team members
Knowledge, Skills and Experience – What is Oras Group expecting from you?
We are seeking a senior professional with a solid technical background and a strong understanding of the valve and HVAC industry. You possess a proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
The ideal candidate has:
- Strong technical expertise in valves for heating, cooling and water systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Proven experience in the valve business especially in Finland and an established contact network (technical wholesalers, designers, contractors, construction companies).
- Experience in business development and driving sales.
- Experience of building and leading winning sales teams is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Finnish and English. Swedish is an advantage.
- Relevant educational background.
